Bear Valley Community Services District to Resume RFID Tag Sales
The Bear Valley CSD will resume sales of new and replacement RFID tags for the resident lane on Monday, April 21. Tags will be available at the main CSD office on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Due to high demand, we are implementing the following schedule based on last name for the first week of sales:
-Monday, 4/21: Last names A-E
-Tuesday, 4/22: Last names F-L
-Wednesday, 4/23: Last names M-Q
-Thursday, 4/24: Last names R-T
-Friday, 4/25: Last names U-Z
Residents can buy tags on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. regardless of last name, starting the week of Monday, 4/28.
RFID tags will be sold at a new price of $17.97, as approved by the CSD Board of Directors on October 10, 2024. This price will apply to all new, replacement, and renewal tags. Residents can pay with cash, check, or have the fee added to their water bill (homeowners with water bill only).
Please note that tags that are currently working do NOT need to be replaced. New sales are only needed for vehicles that either don’t currently have an RFID tag or have an RFID tag that has been renewed but isn’t functioning.
Please bring the following when purchasing new RFID tags:
-The vehicle the tag will be applied to
-Vehicle registration (the name of the person bringing it in must be on the registration)
-Photo ID or amenities card
