Bear Valley CSD Hosts Strategic Planning Session

On Friday, Dec. 5, the CSD Board of Directors and staff participated in an all-day Strategic Planning Session facilitated by Martin Rauch of Rauch Communications Consultants, Inc.

During the meeting, the team discussed the CSD’s most significant challenges and opportunities, both for today and in the coming years. The team also began drafting new Mission and Vision Statements to guide the CSD for years to come.

While a wide variety of topics were discussed, the CSD team emphasized the following:

• Reliable Infrastructure, with a proactive approach to future maintenance and upgrades.

• Financial Sustainability, built on long-term planning that balances District needs with affordability for residents.

• Accountability to Bear Valley residents, to the organization, and to the District’s long-term goals and plans.

The meeting represents just one step of the Strategic Planning project. The team will meet for another workshop in the near future to review and provide direction on items, including the CSD’s Mission, Values, Goals, Priorities, and an Oversight Plan. After that, it will be reviewed at a Regular Board of Directors Meeting. All meetings are open to the public.

The CSD is excited to be building this roadmap for a better Bear Valley CSD!
