BVCSD Directors Approve Engineering Study For Road Repair Project

The Bear Valley Community Services District Board of Directors has approved the next step in a critical road project for our community.

At the December 12 Board Meeting, Directors voted unanimously to contract with Provost and Pritchard Consulting Group to provide an engineering study for Bear Valley Road and Cumberland Road rehabilitation and preservation. The overall project will include road repaving on Bear Valley from the front gate to Oakflat Drive, repaving on Bear Valley from Bay Court to Martingale Way, and road preservation on Bear Valley Road and Cumberland Road.

The project will also include the replacement of underground service lines.

The engineering study will provide critical data needed to identify the best approaches and create a timeline for each of the affected sections of road.

Once the engineering study is complete, the CSD will have a final cost for the project and will move into the construction planning phase. The CSD will share a construction timeline as soon as it is available.
