Oak Flat Booster Station Update

Work is underway on the Oak Flat Booster Station Project. The booster station pumps water up to higher elevations in that area but has been experiencing problems, including pressure surges and water outages, due to aging equipment. On May 19, work started to upgrade the booster’s equipment and remove a pneumatic tank that is no longer needed.

Once complete, residents in that area will have a much more reliable water supply and consistent water pressure. The $740,000 project is expected to be finished by the end of November.
