Police Investigating Theft at Bear Valley Market

The Bear Valley Police Department is searching for a man wanted for shoplifting from the Bear Valley Market.

On Friday, December 19, at approximately 7:40 p.m., a man walked into the market and asked to see a bottle of liquor from behind the counter. The clerk handed the bottle to the suspect, who took it and ran out of the store. The clerk saw him run through the parking lot, then eastbound on Bear Valley Road.

The suspect is described as Hispanic or Caucasian, 18 to 30 years old, between 5’8” and 5’10”. He also has dark hair and a trimmed mustache and goatee. He was wearing a White Sox baseball hat, a grey hooded sweatshirt, and black or dark blue jeans.
