Bear Valley CSD Repairs 61 Water Leaks in Two Months

A construction site with a backhoe and dump truck, workers are digging near a road sign, set against a mountainous backdrop.

The Bear Valley CSD Water Division has been hard at work repairing water leaks throughout Bear Valley Springs.

In August, the team repaired 32 water leaks. In September, the team repaired another 29 leaks.

That’s 61 leak repairs in just two months, a significant workload for our Water Division.

The image is a leak report for August 2026, detailing various service repairs and line clamps at multiple addresses.
The image shows a September 2026 leak report listing various locations, including roads and street names, across two columns.

Unfortunately, due to the age of the pipes throughout our water system, leaks will continue to occur. Long-term solutions will require major infrastructure projects, such as the current Bear Valley Road Rehabilitation Project, which includes replacing aging water lines along sections of Bear Valley Road.

We appreciate the community’s patience as our Water Division responds to leak reports throughout the valley.
