Bear Valley Police are investigating a possible hate crime reported in Bear Valley Springs. On Wednesday, April 8, a resident found numerous items drawn on their son’s vehicle, including swastikas. The resident contacted Bear Valley Police, and an officer responded to take a full report.

The markings were removed without causing permanent damage to the vehicle. However, due to the nature of the drawings, the incident is being taken seriously and remains under investigation.
