THANK YOU, Bear Valley Springs, for your patience and support as we continue the Bear Valley Road Rehabilitation Project.

The Bowman Asphalt construction team says they’ve received plenty of friendly waves and heard lots of people saying “thank you.” The Bear Valley CSD and Bowman appreciate the kindness residents have shown the crew as they work on this major infrastructure project.

The CSD would also like to thank Bowman Asphalt for sending a crew to Bear Valley Springs during Sunday’s rain to improve road conditions in the construction zone and make it safer for drivers.

Looking ahead, paving work is scheduled to continue through Friday, Nov. 6. Road paving involves applying multiple lifts, or layers, of material, with each lift spread and compacted before the next is added. This process is critical to building a stable, durable road that will last for years. Bowman Asphalt will apply a total of six lifts to the section of road currently being paved.

Crews are doing their best to keep traffic moving, but delays are unavoidable with a project of this size and in this location. Please plan for additional delays in the area through the end of the week.
