Roads Department

As an essential part of the Public Works Department, the Roads Department plays a vital role in maintaining and preserving our community's road infrastructure. With a responsibility spanning 110 miles of roads, our dedicated team ensures the integrity and safety of our transportation network.

The Roads Crew

Our Roads 6-man crew, led by a working supervisor, is the backbone of our department's operations. This skilled and dedicated team works tirelessly to maintain and repair our road infrastructure, ensuring the safety and functionality of our transportation network. With their combined expertise and hands-on approach, they tackle a wide range of tasks, from road maintenance, maintaining easements, and snow plowing.

The Budget

Our primary source of funding comes from the Road Assessment, which has remained unchanged at $340 per parcel annually since 1996.
